A strong successful team of highly skilled management, supervisors and operators are the corner stone of our company. At FLL we have a real appreciation for our field personnel and know the importance of finding the right people and investing in them.
Currently we have 60-70 full time staff between the head office, shop, camp, and the field. These include foremans, supervisors, office staff, managers, and safety officers. Our employee base grows as required with equipment operators, laborers and other hourly personnel. Together we share the same vision: to build the trust and respect of our clients.
Scott acquired his Forest Technician License from BCIT in 1989 and shortly after founded Frost Lake Forest Services. Frost Lake Logging Ltd. was created in 1999. Scott has since created many new businesses and joint ventures to better serve clients in the forestry, logging, mining, civil construction, oil and gas industries.
Dennis Callaghan has worked for Frost Lake in various capacities since 2012. Dennis is an accomplished financial officer with exceptional theoretical knowledge of accounting and practical financial, cash flow modelling, budgeting and strategic planning skills. Dennis has demonstrated leadership skills and a passion for strategy.
Terry has joined the Frost Lake Group with over 30 years of experience in harvesting, road construction and mining construction operations. Terry has supervised crews of over fifty persons, and has managed construction projects ranging from road building and bridge installation to building erection and concrete work.
Anika joined Frost Lake in October 2014 as the management accountant while completing her accounting designation. She moved into the position of Controller in August 2015 to manage the accounting department. Anika is responsible for overseeing the day to day accounting functions, as well as financial reporting, budgeting, and project costing.
Aaron comes to Frost Lake from the Coastal GasLink project. Aaron is well versed as a former safety consultant and executive. Aaron brings with him a great deal of experience and knowledge.
Shane is a Registered Professional Forester, and is currently the main forest project supervisor. Shane has a wealth and breadth of knowledge about provincial forestry tenure, logging rights and responsibilities, and harvesting etiquette and efficiency. Shane has supervised large row clearing and silviculture jobs, while at the same time watching over the growth of the Frost Group's core forestry operations.
Roy is the Senior Logging Operations Supervisor, and provides leadership and direction for our other logging supervisors. Roy has been with Frost Lake since 2002, and has over 30 thirty years in logging, clearing and road building.
Tyler joined Frost Lake in 2014 to manage equipment maintenance and parts inventory. Tyler brings over 20 years experience in the forestry and mining industry as a field mechanic and supervisor. He has worked to ensure our maintenance program and records exceed all safety and industry regulations.
